Project was initially built to solve a pain point for captive insurance agents. Worked with one of the largest State Farm agents on the east coast and top 10 in the company. Bi-weekly meet ups to build and design features specific for the client.

Over 5 years, attended insurance conferences, met 1 on 1 with clients and collaborated with some of the largest agents in the company to architect a simple and clean yet comprehensive solution to manage policies, compensation and incentivization of team members.

Features:

• Compensation of commissions and bonuses: With hundreds of demos with agents I quickly had to design the compensation builder to include many different plan strategies. After 2-3 years of designing, adding and removing features VisualBonus now has the ability to build thousands of different compensation structures.
• Incentivization: Worked directly with high producing agents to build leaderboards, promos and bonus milestones to push team members to write more policies
• Payroll management: Created multiple ways to handle agency payroll based on their management style, including payroll history, editing of past payrolls, compensation plan history management, policies updates, chargesbacks and more.
• Activity management: During COVID the need to manage remote teams become more and more apparent within VisualBonus. Worked with agents with teams of up to 20 producers to provide oversight on daily activity from home environments.

Contracted with a political analyst who recognized a pain point in managing campaign finances. As the only developer named in the contract, I worked with him exclusively and successfully built a protect from scratch to production, clients and investment pitches.

Features:

• Data modeling: Had weekly calls with founder to discuss the business logic that was needed and transform it into a scalable and formalized data model. Together, we designed and built multi-tiered permissions, in-app and email notifications, campaigns, expenses, conditional vendor status, receipts and more.
• File management: Exporting, creating and emailing large expense reports for admins to manage and analyze.
• Feature planning and scoping: Worked with a Notion to manage project and feature scope. Daily updated progress with details using both Notion and Slack to keep client informed.
• In-app and email notification management
• Aggregated Dashboard with expense and receipt feedback using eApache charts

Delivered all website and features before the 2022 election deadline and allowed for the pitching of website to VC in early 2023. Client was happy with my work and the product we built.

Worked directly with CEO and designer to build out a marketing website for their companies main landing page.
